I would agree with the above definitions and go one step further.  I am thrifty or frugal in all parts of my life whether it's shopping for groceries or finding the best/cheapest car insurance. Doing a little research can save both time and money when considering a purchase of any kind. I also make a lot of my meals from scratch, grow a garden, can my own food, raise chickens, use coupons and buy used items whenever possible. I will be sharing information and recipes here as well.
