I know combination hair sounds funny but it's true. It's oily at the scalp and dry on the ends. After trying all kinds of shampoos from Professional to inexpensive nothing worked without causing my hair to get really dry. I originally purchased Pantene because I had a coupon, it was buy 2 get 1 free. So I got 2 daily moisture renewal shampoos & 1 conditioner (Family Dollar in Ash Fork it is $5.25 per bottle).
