I'm always looking for bargains and ways to save money. My shopping trip on Friday 7-29-2016 helped me to do that. I used digital and paper coupons to save $22.00 on paper products, food items, etc. Before I went to the store I looked through the sales ad, then added digital coupons on my Dollar General smart phone app and finally pulled paper coupons from my coupon box for the paper products I wanted to buy. After working on Friday I did my shopping at the Dollar General in Williams, Arizona. Here is a breakdown of a few items I purchased. Kotex U Day Liners $3.25 regular price -$2.00 store discount -$1.00 digital coupon -$0.02 store discount $0.23 net price I paid

I like to keep pantry items on hand for either a quick meal or in case of an emergency. Canned vegetables- my buy now price is $0.50 per can only because it's hard to find it any cheaper then that where I live, I was in Dollar General last week in Williams, Arizona and as you see that they have corn and green beans that 2/$1.00 or 1/$0.65 each. I also noticed that they had Hamburger Helper 2/$2.00 or 1/$1.65, that is a good price too. Even better is you have a coupon to use with the sale price. Last year just before Thanksgiving I was able to buy Libby's canned vegetables for $0.33 each so I bought 9 assorted cans. Dollar General also has an app for your phone that has digital coupons you can use. Be sure to look in the food aisles in your dollar stores sometimes you will be surprised what they offer and most times it's costs less than the grocery stores. Pantry items are only a small part of what my family eats, we eat lots of fresh foods too. I'm not being paid to endorse this store, this is my opinion and my opinion alone.
